Privacy notice

Black Paw Photo is a two-person studio, and this site exists to show our work and let you reach us. Here, in plain language, is what happens to information on it.

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and a description of your project. Submitting it sends those details to our studio inbox as an ordinary email so we can reply. We use them only to answer your inquiry and work with you on the project — we don't sell them, rent them, or add you to a mailing list. The same goes for anything you send us by phone or by email directly.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through this site — which galleries get viewed, which pages lead to an inquiry. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location and device type; we see that information in aggregate, not tied to your name. You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and Google explains how it uses this data.

Videos on this site

Our videos are hosted on YouTube and Vimeo. Each one appears as a still image until you press play; only then does the player load from YouTube or Vimeo, at which point their own privacy policies apply.

Links to other sites

This site links to our studio's other sites and to social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Google. Each of those has its own privacy practices, which apply once you're there.
